Yesterday was an exciting and crucial day for the casting process. We invited the 20 selected children and their parents/guardians for a meeting at SOCSA. When we arrived at 9.30, there was already one Geele waiting! At 10.15 the last children arrived: some of them had to walk. Kayse explained what the parents and children could expect and what not, Michiel and Roelof talked and the parents asked questions. "Will the children have to go abroad to be filmed?" "What about school?" We were happy that all but one of the invited children turned up and that the parents understand the importance of the film. Here is a short clip of the beginning of the meeting.
